The Cottages
A traditional Somerset byre has been converted into two comfortable holiday cottages. They are equipped with modern household appliances, but retain the charm of country cottages. Thus visitors are able to enjoy all the comforts of home in the tranquility of the countryside.
Both cottages have an open-plan living area comprised of lounge and dining area, with a kitchen leading off from this.
The Owls has a main bedroom with a double bed, plus a second
bedroom with bunk beds, a bathroom with bath/shower and a separate
toilet.
Bird's Nest, designed to be suitable for wheelchair users,
has two bedrooms with double beds, and a combined toilet/bathroom with
bath/shower.
Each cottage sleeps 4, but we can put an extra bed in the lounge if
required.
Facilities: The
kitchens are equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and coffee
machine. A colour television is provided in the lounge. Electric heaters are provided
for each bedroom and the living area. A washing machine, tumble drier
and freezer are available for your use at the adjacent farmhouse.
Children: Cots and highchairs are available on request, but please bring your own bedding for the cot.
Pets: One well-behaved dog welcomed (£10 extra).
Services: All electricity charges are included in the price. Linen, including towels, is provided free of charge.
Parking: Ample off-road parking is available on site.
Gardens: Lawns next to the cottages allow visitors to relax in the peace and quiet of the Somerset countryside. Garden furniture is provided and barbecue facilities are also available on request.
